An exciting opportunity has arisen at Northern Rye.
We are looking for a highly motivated person to join our bread team in our expanding bakery.
We are looking for someone with a
- Proven track record working in artisan bakeries with a good knowledge of producing high-quality continental breads and pastries
- Experience with long fermentation systems (yeasted /sourdough) in bread .
- Good grasp of maths and bakers formulations
Most importantly we are looking for someone with a real passion for all things bread.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Northern Rye team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic full time member of staff to head up the production and creation of our sandwiches, toasties, sausage rolls and pies. Candidates must have a passion for food and be experienced working in a fast paced environment. This role will be at our Bakehouse at the Tyne Tunnel trading estate so applicants must have there own mode of transport as some shift maybe early or at weekends.
